Yoga 101

Join us for this Pop-Up class to learn the foundations of yoga. We will break down key postures and how to use our breath to move more freely.
This is an ideal way to get started with yoga, and beginners are welcome.

Asana Lab
With Danielle Jones
Explore, Align, Empower
Asana Lab is a 3-week series designed to deepen your understanding of yoga asana (postures). Each session focuses on a particular posture or group of postures, offering a blend of anatomy, technique, and scaffolded exploration. It is perfect for both beginners and seasoned yoga practitioners. Come curious, leave confident!
30–45 min: Anatomy orientation and building skills to support mobility and strength for the posture(s) of focus
60 min: All-levels yoga class with guided variations and prop exploration
15–30 min: Reflection and Q&A

12/13: Shoulder Stand
About your host: Danielle Marie Jones (she/her) is a weaver of somatic, liberatory, and Earth-based practices.
She has been practicing yoga since 2014 and, in 2019, completed 300 hours of yoga teacher training from the Bhakti Yoga Movement Center in Portland, OR.
She believes yoga is a powerful pathway to regulating our body systems and reimagining beliefs, practices, and socio-cultural systems that center equity and healing. Her classes are trauma-informed and value curiosity and play.
