Retreat With Purpose

Retreat with Purpose

Retreats give you a break from the grind of daily life. You will have a concentrated amount of time to see a new place and learn about the culture, interact with new and/or old friends, and have unstructured downtime to just be.

It will leave you feeling more centered, grounded, calm, and more in touch with who you are and what you want. Going on retreat gives you the chance to really be with yourself. You walk away with clarity about life and a desire to implement everything you have experienced.

Going on a retreat opens you up to new experiences and allows you to think about things from a different perspective. You can clear through all the muck to see what’s really important and worthy of your attention.

Participants of our last retreats refer to the experiences as magical and transformational. We want you to experience that!

We can tell you how incredible the experiences will be, but at the end of the day, they are experiential, and you have to be there to truly understand. If you’re curious, listen. Something is telling you this retreat is for you. Don’t let fear hold you back from living the life you were meant to live. Be scared and say yes anyway. You can keep saying next time and put this amazing opportunity on hold. Or you can go ahead and sign up today.

Meet your teachers

Yoga has been a part of my life for over two decades now. I wandered into my first yoga class in the summer of 2000, and there was just something about it that made me feel good, and that is still the case today, even after all these years.

Being able to share the practice means everything. After completing a 200-hour YTT certification in 2004, I began teaching straight away. Teaching and practicing have remained constant in my life ever since. Each year has
allowed me to learn and give more, including training new teachers and teaching kids yoga. In 2020, I updated my teaching credentials and completed another training to add a 500-hour advanced certification.

We often hear that yoga practice is meant to meet us where we are, and I certainly find that to be true. The trick is to just show up or unroll your mat and see what happens.

You can expect to find an uplifting message woven into the overall format of my classes. I enjoy teaching at all levels and am comfortable guiding students through a rewarding and sustainable practice. Laughter is a big part of my teaching, and I often use it to create a lighthearted and playful atmosphere.

Hosting retreats is a fantastic way to connect with others, share experiences, and explore the healing practices of yoga, meditation, and breathwork in depth.
Having an amazing retreat partner makes it simply the best. Two dear friends with over two decades of experience giving you the tools to see yourself through all the things.

I can’t wait to do it with you because you truly belong here!

I began practicing yoga in March of 2002. I came to yoga because of an ankle injury that led tosome severe back problems. My friends kept telling me yoga would heal what ailed me.

I fell in love with Ashtanga after my first practice.

Having been an athlete my whole life, I was initially drawn to the physical aspect of yoga. Over time, I realized there was so much more to this practice than the physical. I felt this indescribable lightness after practice; this was my introduction to the spiritual side of yoga, which also led me to develop a daily meditation and
pranayama practice. I found what I didn’t even know I was looking for.

Each day, I roll out my mat and do my best with whatever I have to offer that day. I’ve learned over the years to practice acceptance of the ups and downs both on and off the mat. Growth is a constant, whether physically, mentally, or spiritually, as long as I remain open to it.

I hope as a teacher, I can pass on the same joy and peace I’ve found in my practice. I also hope to
show people that with a daily commitment to yourself and the practice, the possibilities are endless.

I love teaching retreats because they allow me to connect with people more deeply and share my love of yoga, pranayama, meditation, travel, and fun!

It’s even better because I get to do it with
one of my favorite people in the world!
